Alfredo is passionate about organizational behavior and leadership development. Over the past twelve-plus years, Alfredo has consulted for a wide range of organizations including family businesses, corporations, schools, ministries, and not-for-profits.

Mr. Umaña holds a Masters in Business Administration from INCAE (a Harvard-associated school in Costa Rica) and began his consulting career with Deloitte & Touche Business Solutions. He opened his own practice — Applied Consulting / Consultoria Aplicada — in 2005, with the goal of serving clients through custom-made organizational and leadership services.
